We recognize the complexity and challenges when it comes to medical equipment logistics and installation. Whether we are delivering to stores, a ward, or the theatre, you can rest assured that your medical equipment will be in safe hands with RBC Group.
We can also collect ex-demonstration and end-of-life equipment for disposal in accordance with WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations. Often, due to the size and nature of the equipment, a site survey needs to be conducted and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) produced.
Here at RBC Group we operate a ”train the trainer” programme and put all our staff through rigorous training at manufacturer level, to ensure compliance and quality of service at every stage of the movement, from receipt through to delivery and installation. This all means that our staff are able to educate yours as to how the medical equipment works, even after it’s been installed.
Once the equipment has been installed, we can offer to demonstrate to the receiver how to safely use and operate it before removing and disposing of any specialist packaging or crating material.
Examples of some of the medical equipment we collect, deliver and install include diagnostics and imaging systems, refrigeration cabinets, MRI, CT equipment, and other hospital furniture.
We’re not restricted here at RBC Group by location. With depots in Manchester, Milton Keynes, Bristol, Leicester, and Scotland we can offer complete national coverage.
We could go on, but what we’d really recommend is that you book an appointment with us. You can discuss your requirements with us over the phone on 0300 030 0666 or by filling out our online contact form.
